The Trust’s Annual Meeting was held on the 24th of July 2021, via Zoom. There were 14 members in attendance.

The Chair referred to his written presentation, which can be viewed here, describing the year 2020 as unique. The presentation refers to the ways that Nant has faced the difficulties created by the pandemic, and their financial impact. The General Manager, Mair Saunders and her team were thanked for ensuring that the Nant had survived this challenging period and was now ready to face a busy future once again.

Board members and officers were all ready to continue in office. No other nominations were received and they were re-elected unanimously.

The auditors, Owain Bebb and his Company, were re-appointed for a further year.

It was noted that this would be Jim O’Rourke’s last annual meeting as Executive Consultant. The Chairman and President expressed their sincere thanks to Jim for his crucial contribution to the Nant’s work over a period of 16 years, a period which had seen a complete transformation of the resources available to welcome students and visitors. The Board would be looking forward to a further opportunity to thank and wish him well in person before too much time had passed.

There being no further business, the Meeting was closed.

The next Annual Meeting will be held on the 23rd of July 2022.
