Learners, it’s competition time!
Are you learning Welsh? Do you enjoy writing? Maybe this period has inspired you to be creative?
We’re launching a special competition for Welsh learners of all levels, which will be judged by Welsh writer and bard, Myrddin ap Dafydd.
To win a voucher worth £50 to spend at Nant Gwrtheyrn, write a Welsh language piece of prose or poetry (no more than 200 words) in response to ONE of these three images:
It can be a fictional piece, a personal piece (one of the images might mean something to you), or a simple description. It can be a conversation, a blog or a monologue – the choice is yours!
Send your piece to marchnata@nantgwrtheyrn.org with your name, learning level and note which image you’ve chosen to write about.
Closing date: 31 July.
The winner will be announced in August and the best pieces will feature on our website.
The winner can use the voucher towards a Welsh language course, send it at the café or on accommodation (when the site re-opens).
