It is a pleasure to welcome Eleri Llewelyn Morris to her new role as Senior Tutor. Eleri has tutored occasionally in the Nant for years and her experience and enthusiasm is a great asset to the centre.

Although no lessons are held during January, the education department has been busy over the past few weeks in preparation and planning for new courses for 2016. A brand new course is the course ‘Taste of Llŷn’ which will be held between the 19th and 21st April. An exciting new course that introduces the language, culture and the Lleyn Peninsula area to non-Welsh speakers and beginners is ‘Taste of Lŷn’. The course offers interesting tours and experiences around the area with a visit to the exclusive Cwrw Llŷn brewery! Do you know someone who would be interested? Someone who has just moved to the area and wants to learn the language and the history and culture of the Lleyn Peninsula, perhaps?

The first conference of the year was held in late January and it was great to welcome back members of the Diocese of Bangor to the Nant again.
