Happy New Year from everyone here at Nant! We hope you enjoyed the celebrations in recent weeks.

There has been much celebration here at Nant on New Year’s Eve, once again this year. After a delicious banquet, the versatile Dilwyn Morgan entertained the audience with his witty humour. And of course, there were excellent performances by Y Chwedlau and Geraint Lovgreen. Thanks to everyone for their support.

It was good to welcome pupils of Ysgol Pont y Gôf, Botwnnog, who were here for a visit before Christmas. The pupils have been busy making Christmas crafts with Meinir and Miriam..

It was a pleasure to welcome members of Merched y Wawr from Cemaes, Anglesey, who came to Nant for their Christmas party. They had previously been over to visit during the summer, and it was a pleasure to see them here at Nant again.

Caffi Meinir has now reopened after a break between Christmas and New Year. We look forward to a special evening to celebrate St Dwynwen!

Although the education department have a short break from learning during January, everyone is busy preparing for the coming year and look forward to a special year of learning and experimenting with new methods during 2016.
